General Information
The hall features a large, wooden floored hall, a smaller hall and a multipurpose room upstairs as well as kitchen and toilet facilities. The rooms can be hired individually, or the building as a whole can be booked. The maximum capacity for the entire building is 141.
Main Hall
The main hall provides a good space for events, parties, and sports such as badminton and bowling. The space measures 7.5 by 12 metres, has a maximum capacity of 100, and features a raised stage with curtains.
Small Hall
The small hall is ideal for meetings. It measures 5 by 7.4 metres and has a maximum capacity of 30.
Upper Hall
The upper hall features a multipurpose room which provides an ideal space for meetings, business events, private and social therapy and treatments and as an ante room for weddings and funerals.
Kitchen
The hall has a kitchen, which contains:
- Two cookers (one of which is a commercial cooker).
- A fridge-freezer.
- A microwave.
- Two sinks, as well as a handwashing sink.
- Two electric kettles.
- Two coffee making machines.
- Two large thermos flasks for tea or coffee.
- Mugs/cups, side plates, dinner plates, cutlery, and glasses for 80 people.
Hire of either the main or small hall includes light use of the kitchen, such as for making tea/coffee, although bookers might need to share it if both halls are in use. If you require dedicated use of the kitchen, this should be made clear in your booking application. The kitchen does not contain saucepans or serving dishes.
Toilets
The hall has male and female toilets in the foyer area as well as a fully accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. Additionally, there is also a fully accessible toilet with baby changing facilities at the rear of the hall next to the small hall.
Outside the Hall
The hall grounds feature a number of useful community facilities including a public defibrillator at the front of the hall, a recycling area to the side of the building along with a Little Library where you can borrow a book free of charge.
